First of all, thanks to everyone who came to my second pop-up at Friends of Carmela at Pike Place Market!

People gathered around a café counter with shelves of books, jars, and food products.

I don’t know if it was shifting the time frame earlier, or that we’ve passed peak tourist season, but more locals and regulars came through this time. Thank you!

It was great to see familiar faces and meet new market friends.

Shout out to my gracious hosts at Friends of Carmela for letting me invade their cozy space. And thanks, as always, to my steadfast pop-up support person, PG.

It was a really fun day at the market.

By the way, did you catch the Dia de Muertos decorations there? They were so cool!

Speaking of, I hope everyone had a wonderful, fun, and safe Halloween.

Since having kids, Halloween has become maybe my favorite holiday?!? (shhhhhh, don’t tell Christmas)

I was never big on adult Halloween, but kid Halloween is the absolute best. I love, love, love seeing the tiny gaba-ghouls in their costumes. And, as long as there’s enough candy on hand, the holiday kinda takes care of itself.

Aside from making sure kids have something to eat that isn’t just candy, there’s no big meal or baking projects to stress over (insert nervous laughter).

This year’s Halloween really nailed it by being on a dry-weather Saturday on the weekend of daylight savings fall-back. Chef’s kiss. It should be so every year.

And with that, the holiday season is off and running!

Next up: the biz is turning three! Can you believe it?!?

We’re celebrating with a very special event in a brand new location!

Tremonte’s is making its Ballard debut!

It’s a rare day when I take the business clear across town. But, for this special engagement, I’ll be popping up at Nutty Squirrel Gelato’s location on Ballard Ave.

Mark your calendar:

The pop-up will be on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and a Ballard Farmers’ Market day. So, I encourage you to get all your ingredients for the big meal. Then pop by and see me for cookies and ice cream.

I’m also stoked to share that Nutty Squirrel and I are working on a limited-edition collab item. More details coming soon. I can’t wait to tell you about it!
